Our journey began in 1960, in the heart of Lahore’s Fruit Market (Mandi), with our founder, Haji Miraj Din, whose commitment to quality and integrity laid the foundation for our success.
Haji Miraj Din was a modest man with a vision. He started his journey as an “Aarhti,” a common term in Urdu for a middleman connecting suppliers and buyers. Through his integrity, hard work, and dedication, Miraj Din established a reputation for reliability and honesty. His approach was simple but effective—building strong relationships and ensuring the highest quality of fruits and vegetables for his clients.
As Miraj Din grew older, he passed the baton to his son, Muhammad Ramzan, who took up the business at a young age. Life was not always easy, and Muhammad Ramzan faced many challenges. However, his determination and relentless work ethic kept the business thriving. He successfully expanded the business within Pakistan. He started supplying fresh fruits to a variety of local manufacturers like Mitchell’s and Shezan. Today, the familiar flavors in their jams, jellies, and marmalades come from the fruits provided by Al Miraj.
Muhammad Ramzan’s sons, well-educated and deeply connected to their humble roots, carried forward the family’s legacy. With a modern outlook and a deep respect for tradition, they expanded the business beyond Lahore’s Fruit Market. Today, Miraj Din, Muhammad Ramzan & Co. is not only one of the largest suppliers of apples, mangoes, and a wide range of fresh fruits and vegetables in Pakistan, but also a provider of the taste of Pakistan to the world.
